Our coir compost discs come from the husks of Sri Lankan coconuts which are washed in fresh water for four months before dried in the sun. After that, they’re compressed and the articles between the fibres become the coir compost.
Just pour some water onto the discs and watch them expand into a sustainable, water-retaining compost. It’s not exactly bursting with nutrients but that’s why you should add some of our Compost Plus – a rich, organic compost with Biohumus, Neem, sustainably-harvested Seaweed and Mycorrhiza.
It’s nature’s natural cycle at its best and a way to save our precious peat bogs.
With 20 discs, add water [warmish for faster action] to make around 20 litres of Natural Coir Compost complete with our Jute Bag, ideal for seed potatoes, onion sets, bulb storage and much more.
