The Classic Rudds Rake,
A 6 long, 2 6 wide handmade piece of history, almost unchanged for centuries. ( In fact, apart from the Bow being round not square or forked, it is unchanged in centuries.)
The head, which is about 2 6 wide, is made from Ash, as is the Bow and shaft and although the shaft is about 6 long, the whole hay rake weighs less 4 lb.
The Rake's teeth are from seasoned Birch, really, really tough ( they knew a few things about Rakes in them old days !)
A hand made wooden rake to treasure - but a rake that expects to be used !
