We have a lovely garden, and a lovely home – but I’m sure it’s shrinking !
There never seems to be enough room for us all to do our own thing.
Take a teenage daughter (plus her friends), a son who wanders home occasionally (he works in London), two dogs (who always lie across a door way), Joe’s books (lots are going to go ‘missing’ one day) add an office under the stairs and what do you end up with ? A frazzled Mum who has been known to say
“I don’t where to start on the house work, so I’m going in the garden !”
The extra space, the extra possibilities that this ‘Life Space’ room offers is perfect for people like us.
We love our house, and do not want to move, but just need to be able to stretch out a bit, just need to have some flexibility !
Here the ‘Premium’ is used as an office (you can tell that by the deck chair and the paper.)
This gives you not only more space, but separates ‘home’ from ‘work’, I think we all need that sometimes.
But just think of all the other ways this beautifully designed Garden Room could add to your home.
An extra bedroom, a study, a library, a playroom, an observatory, a wonderfully light studio or simply a lovely, quiet retreat amongst the natural world just to sit and think awhile.
( Joe suggested your own pub in the garden, but we do tend to ignore him .)
All of these ideas, and so many more, are so easily possible with the ‘Life Space’ as the 17 mm tongue and grooved walls are fully insulated, as is the 28 mm thick timber floor.
The double door, which can be securely locked, is double glazed as are all three windows.
These doors, windows and especially the tinted Polycarbonate roof flood the whole room with light.
The frame work of the Premium is anodised aluminium, with its lovely subdued sheen, and your new ‘Life Space’ comes complete with a galvanised steel base.
(You must make sure you have a firm, level area for the base though.)
The overall height is just over 7’ 6” (2.3m) and it’s 9’ 10” wide (3m), it’s depth inside is about 8’ (2.4m) but its roof and gutters add about another 3’ (.9m)
The size of the walls and floor did not allow the full environmental pressure treatment that our buildings normally have, but that allows you to treat, stain or paint your ‘Life Space’ however you like.
Your ‘Life Space Premium’s size though means it’s parts are heavy and sometimes cumbersome, so you will definitely need an extra strong pair of hands to assemble it. With such help, and reasonable DIY skills and tools, you should have your new Garden Room built in a day or so.
Or, and I know it costs more, you could leave all the assembly to the experts.
Just give them a good level area - and give yourself a day out.
Then come home and start planning how you will decorate the new addition to your home.
