About 20 years ago a Dutch economist called Peter founded an outfit in Indonesia called
'The Green World'.
His objectives were simple, sustainable development through fair trade.
Take a look at all our other stuff, coir pots for example, and you'll know we definitely agree with him !
The Green World has grown tremendously. Over 400 people now contribute their skills in hand making all sorts of useful stuff.
But it's not just that, if any of them come up with a good idea, then Peter is there to nurture them, with loans, advice and guidance.
