‘Gazebo’ What does this lovely word conjure up to you ? Because nobody knows where it came from, so let’s let our imagination roam a bit.

Well, for some reason it reminds me of very nosy Giraffes.
O.K. I know - I’m just being very silly now.
But the word just suddenly appeared in the 18th century, coined by a chap called Halfpenny in his book ‘New Designs for Chinese Temples’ – obviously a big demand for Chinese Temples back in 1752 !
