Why do we always feel so Guilty !
“Arbours”, the word just seems to conjure up long soft, sunny summer afternoons.
Romantic trysts, flowers strewn across your lap suitors kneeling entreatingly before you.
Romance, longing, heartache, tears: then such joy sealed with stolen kisses.
Well, to be honest, these days I’d prefer to a nice cup of tea, and to be left alone in my cosy Arbour with good book !
( Anyway, if Joe got down on one knee I’d probably have to help him get up again ! )
Incidentally, all of the photographs of the garden arbours were taken at Burford House Gardens, where we were married.
And just to prove I’m really a hopeless romantic, I even try to buck up the courage occasionally to visit them. I mean it was once one of my favourite places !

Why can’t we just sit and watch the grass grow occasionally instead of always feeling we have to go and cut it !
